UCI eSports is proud to announce the first of a Youth Summer Camps series, the Girls’ Summer Camp. Our goal is to create learning and networking opportunities that are both interesting and useful for various members of our gaming community.
The UCI eSports Girls’ Summer Camp is an newly-created outreach program that strives to educate young women about the world of esports. Our goal is to develop interest for the multi-faceted esports industry and create a welcoming community for individuals who are passionate about gaming.
Some topics that we will explore range from streaming, game development, the competitive scene and much more. We hope that this summer camp will lead to larger projects and create a tradition of workshops and events hosted by UCI eSports.
The camp will take place at our very own UCI eSports Arena, featuring our top-tier facilities and talented staff and students. It will be a 5-day program beginning June 26 from 9am to 5pm each day.
We will have more information coming soon, including registration details and applications. If you’d like to be specifically alerted when the content launches, please contact us here.
