Sign up for Winter Intramural Esports today!

For the first time ever, UCI Esports is partnering with Campus Recreation to offer two exciting intramural gaming events for the upcoming winter quarter! To join either of these competitions, you must be a current UCI student, own a winter sports pass (which you can purchase here), and register through IMLeagues. We are excited about the prospects of this partnership, since one of our big goals is to cultivate a lasting relationship with the student community. Through these competitions, we hope to get more students involved in esports in other ways beyond spectating.

This coming year, the Overwatch 6v6 co-ed season is scheduled to take place from January 22nd to February 22nd, with all matches played at the UCI Esports Arena. Signups have already begun, and will end January 15th at 11:59 pm. You can either create a team with your friends and sign up together, or join as a free agent and any team in need of players can pick you up! Additionally, in order to foster a more diverse gaming environment in accordance with our Inclusivity Plan, rosters must have at least two active female players in order to be eligible to qualify for playoffs.

If team games aren’t your cup of tea, and you are part of an IFC chapter, you can sign up to represent your fraternity in the FIFA 1v1 tournament, taking place on February 5th! Signups for this have also already begun and will end February 1st at 11:59pm.
