Update 5/26/18: The League of Legends bootcamp has been canceled for year one. Unfortunately the number of paid registrations was well below what we anticipated, and we have had to re-evaluate whether we could host the camp. The main reason we think registration is slow is because the dates of the camp conflict with many school districts in Southern California and elsewhere. We apologize for any inconvenience and will work hard to ensure this camp succeeds next year.

The UCI Esports League of Legends Bootcamp is a summer program for high-level League of Legends players that have aspirations to play at the collegiate or professional level. The camp will be led by UCI’s scholarship League of Legends team and coaching staff. Campers will receive strategic coaching and learn about team play, communication, VOD review and how to take their game to the next level. Additionally, campers will learn about UCI, the Esports program, and collegiate and professional esports.

Our target audience is high school students currently in their junior or senior years of high school, but we encourage everyone who is interested in attending this camp to apply, as we may make a few exceptions based on other circumstances and qualifications.

Please note that the list of staff, guests, and the schedule is subject to change in the weeks leading up to the camps. This is still a work in progress as we continue to refine our curriculum to make sure that our camps are as enjoyable and educational as they can be while still accommodating our staff and all campers.
